My 18 BIRTHDAY :D:D 1 more big step down my life

Today is my BIRTHDAY . I m now 18 :D:D. Legal age to smoke,buy lottery, go clubs and buy alcohol but i still refuse to do so.

Went to school for Game Design workshop lesson. But faci for the day is not jeremy but shaun. It is still a fun filled lesson and day with shaun. Parts of the lesson got a bit tense in mood.

Then after class went to CWP with victor,eddy,shihui,terence yap,pei ling,hansen,braynard,angie and yi wei. It was raining heavily at that time, eddy drove me,yi wei and the girls from RP to CWP. 6 ppl sqeeuze in a small small car . very interesting experience. Somemore everytime we reach the hump in the carpark, the ppl behind will get hit.

Then we decided not to go watch movie and go eat. Walk walk here and walk walk there, finally decided to go eat at pastamania. It was the second time i ate pastamania. i ordered tomato based meatball spagetti with combo C. Tasted quite good and really make me quite full.

Then after that we went to walk here and there taking pictures. Starting from the pastamania, to arcade then to carpark. The all good good photography from Ang Shi Hui :D. They decided take blueprint at the arcade with 10 ppl sqeezing and fighting over the small small screen. Damn funny scene lor. Lastly they bought me a small kitkat birthday log cake from polar cakes and a BIG lighter to light up a candle to sing me a birthday song:D. Thats about it.

Just came back after meeting my friends for a shortwhile after CWP and did rj.
Then i found out my mum also bought the same small kitkat birthday log cake from polar cakes for me to eat. But i was damn full so we kind of just put the candle and sing the birthday song then put the cake back into the fridge.

A happy Day indeed. In memories of what life could had been with or without me.

8 days to the start of another new semester

RP Year 2 Semester 2 for me starts on October 12 2010. The UT3 results, GPA and class allocation is still not out. Its been holidaying for so long that i dun remember actually when my holiday started. Time really fly past fast, it feels like yesterday was my 1st day of school in RP even though i ate the western food of E1 block for more than 50 times i think.

The Beginning of an End

Today last day of class for Year 2 Sem 1. Sooo as usual i think the good should stay and the bad memory should be shoo off. For that particular person , life still goes on, regardless of how bad is a class.

Took 5 modules this semester, but only going to evalute 5 facis .

Art of Story
Module Code:T202
Class Location:E35P
Zane and Beng Ghee also attend AoS with my class.
This module is done by Edward wong my PC so he kind of the faci that always needs to maintain at the most calm status so that he do not upset or enrage students. He tend to make the lesson harder than the actual problem given in the day. This is good and bad depending on whether you like to have limitations. He is able to always relate the class to my game design course during class so that we would understand why we are learning certain things. He is also my Programme Chair a.k.a the 'principal' of my diploma.

This module is the most complicated and also the simplest module out of the 5 module this semester. Kind of like cognitive at times and kind of the practical studies at another time. My anthro faci is Chong Li Chuan, a faci that seems to be able to do know-it-all but have a habit of not telling answers directly and making students crack their brain to squeeze all the knowledge out. He is always ending class at 4pm exactly regardless of number of teams . He even been my relief faci for ID for 1 problem. The faci that have quite a lot of dislike from students at times.

History of the Arts (HotA)

This module is the module that seems to be what students dun like. ARTSSSS. Somemore its History!!! The lesson also starts the earliest which is 8am. The good thing is that the class ends at 12noon which is pretty good and early. The term 'HotA' is a unique term made cause of a game. The faci for this module is mostly Julia Sims, quite a young lady. She seems to always need to buffer like youtube when teaching in class during 1st meeting. Other faci that came for my class before are Delia and Mark Papaya. They only came class once so i dun hav much to say but rather Mark Papaya is able to have a more interesting class with its unique style of teaching.

This module is the special module that have its own drawing studio at level 3. It teaches us how to draw draw draw. Getting to know what is proportion and composition. This helps me to understand how my game can have better composition by putting certain things in front, behind or in the middle. Most people like this module because its starts at 12noon. Some people in my class are super good artist that 'faci standard'.

'MOVING' closer to UT

Next week would be the start of all the UT2. UT is a RP term kind of like SA1. Before even the UT started , we need to already start preparing stuffs to pass up during UT beforehand. Many complained as we are only given 5 days to prepare.
The theme is 'MOVING' which makes it harder for me to imagine what to draw. This UT is for my drawing module.

Field Tripssss

Last last week my class E33P went to a field trip to CBD to draw there and learn the drawing of architecture. Reaching there as it rained like water fall . Even our Lam Fong facilitator's hair got totally wet and disappeared after we arrived at the place to go la-kopi. Left us wet and cold under the shelter. Drawing some building as we can see a bit from the shelter to submit to faci, then the rain starts to stop and went burger king eat mushroom doubles. Walk walk walk some more then draw a weird UFO on top of a building then go home liao with MRT.

2morrow would be going to pe-ra-na-kan museum for my History of the Arts Module. Need take picture of stuffs in that place then remember the name of the items there. Then write a assement about 3 art in that museum and 800+ words at the end of the day.

This thursday would be going to Asian Civilisation museum for Art of Story module.
Hopefully would get a nice time there instead of lots of old grandma story from the lesson and then give me a nice grade.

Next monday of my interaction design also same field trip however this time to the fusionpolis which is at buona vista. Going there for 1st hour of anthropology and then do a design for interaction design. Hopes from E35P all people would like to have ALVIN BACK~! Past 3 weeks all not him.... Many ppl miss him.....

Meeting virtual life in real life

Many should had seen this before, you met someone you don't know on the internet then they might ask you to meet up outside in real life. Most would not go attend because who knows who they are especially girls. Had been mapling , dotaing , WoWing a bit.
Found out something weird about these 3 games.

Some maplers hate dota and WoW. Some Dotaer hate maple and WoW. Some WoWers hate dota and maple. Overall they dun really like each other but i m playing all 3. I would try to update on my currently status on these 3 games soon if i free or feel like doing it.

Sometimes helping becomes Harrassing....

Yr 2 Sem 1 Holiday

I m back to posting again after so long. This holiday mainly all i did is playing! However there is always difference in the way. After learning all about anthropology and interaction design. Just like what i wrote in my blog profile, i was playing maple and dota. If you stereotype maple with the word childish, then ok i m childish. I still like it regardless of that. Everytime i stopped mapleing for a long time and suddenly play maple, i start to learn more and more on how the game works and how it is about to interact well with its players. For example it allows players to set almost every single of its key for playing. To me, maple being a 2D game is ok, it doesn't need to be a 3D game to be a game i like. Oh ya i was playing street fighter IV, God of War III and FF 13 too at my friend house. FF 13 and God of war had very nice and good 3D graphics and the game mood was quite nice just that the game play of FF13 seems very plain and boring as all u get to do is attack or blitz on ur target unit thats all and watch all the short clips before each scenes. Street fighter IV was loan from Louis Png! Who just reached 18 not long ago. Happy bd Louis! It was FUN! however my friend house only had 1 controller so we could only play arcade mode cannot play VS mode. We will like so desparate to win de 'iceman' boss. I used the big size zangrief keep lose him and get KO by his ulti which shows a ending of de zangrief get push out of his vacuum ball onto the screen on TV. After tries and tries finally defeated de boss 2day. I was playing it yesterday afternoon at my friend house 2day n yesterday. Ok then this seems to be my longest post for now in year 2010! Lastly Happy Holidays TO all ! Secondary,Primary,Polys,Uni n MORE!

Today dunno y i suddenly feel like posting after 3 weeks. Maybe because we did a funny stick man cinderalla story for presentation today. My team had Shem,Lulu,Yu Fan,LiangJie and lastly Tigger. Each member did their part to help before we finished the ppt. Had a nice day presenting and also maybe our stickman story can print out and give even my baby cousin as a story book. Note that the tigger is not human! It gave its humpping support to the team.

RP is fun,boring,tiring place . good aircon to enjoy all day long, other than sometimes after 5pm still in class they off the aircon. 3 meetings a day makes up a day. PDT becomes basics of the basics. PPT become the results of whole day. WS become the stairs to the end. Other classes friends become great help to lead to a great end. This post is ignoring all grammar,vocab or other errors so if you understand, good. RP UTs is something I like of all in RP, after exam can go HOME! After all exams you normally GET HOLIDAY! All grades given in UTs are depending on overall students scoring which means if every1 fails and I fail then I will pass. So its GREAT! Then is the thing that I dun really like about RP, some people dun1 mention names but you should no who if u got add me in facebook like to make video or picture to tease people such as ME. N I SERIOUSLY FKING ULTRA HATE these people. IF they want to disturb or tease PEOPLE dun FKING COME disturb ME. Anyway I no I m the most easy person to bully in class but JUST DUN FKING BULLY ME LA. OK I apologised for those readers reading the 3 fkings due to my a bit anger. Hope that next semester would be much better !

Who knows maybe one day walking down the street and you see me as a millionaire
If I become a millionaire in future I don’t think it’s surprising
But if I become a extremely rich person now I will be VERY SHOCKED.
I m currently working with a $5/h pay for my end year holidays
So I will need work 1000000/5 hrs to get 1 million which is 200000 hrs = Almost 23 YEARS!
That is if I DUN EAT, SLEEP, SHIT or whatever that will make me waste time and money!
Of course it’s obvious that just working with a $5/h pay can never get you rich.

My New Year event

On 14th February midnight which is the Chinese New Year 初一, I feel very uncomfortable after whole day of blackjacking, eating all types of unhealthy food. From the simple mcdonalds for breakfast then eat ferro rocheros, pineapple tarts,Pizza hut,bakwa,etc … Keep on vomiting for whole night cannot sleep. Then morning take cab go the bukit batok clinic see doctor. Found out that the charging rate of the fees at there during Chinese new year DAMN EXP. Still got time slot one , 8am-1pm is $42, 1pm-8pm is $45, then 8pm-11pm is $48. I reach there about 10pm going 11pm so quickly go see else need pay more. The doctor say I having food poisoning then say my illness can choose whether I want to have injection. So I take injection and that cost me total to see doctor of $82!!! Then after that go home by cab again and sleep whole day rest never go visit relative with my family but still get some ang pao from those relative that are close to my family.

Cognitive Process II – Lishan

Lishan, a female faci that is very open-minded but not flexible. She have problem with speaking the word Kac into Cock. She is I think the only faci that watchs bleachs and other animes . She even shares her opinion about these animes in class discussion. She quite stick to the book, 1st meeting partial = F, 2nd meeting partial = F, and hence as long as you partial u get F. That is what I experienced, yours might be different. She skipped the last problem for cognitive and

Communication - Vicky Wong , then Jamie Foo

Vicky Wong is a very nice faci that makes lesson quite interesting, but hor she always put the time limit for each ppt to 10mins. Then stress me with the 1min left card . When that cards come out the whole rest of the ppt will kind of screw up. I think she quite nice she giv me mostly As and this makes me like to attend communication. Then is Jamie Foo our part time faci to replace Vicky Wong who transfer to the class beside mine. She as it says is a part time faci, she teachs me communication only half of the time. Meaning there were 9 problems left after Vicky left, and she only giv 5 out of 9 of the problems, the others was given to other part time faci that we only saw once. She also quite nice but she only giv me few As cos only 5 problems which is 5 grades.

Entrepreneurship - Tan Chek Kuang

The ah pek faci, he like to talk talk talk and make the whole lesson very boring. The whole class seems to dislike him, I also kind of dislike him cos he in the 15 weeks only giv me a A nia. Due to the entrepreneurship project or business idea, we had to stick to the same team throughout 13 weeks and so I m like the team main presenter, I answer most of his question for the team. Then he always like to ask too much question and gets sometimes out of point or out of time.

DMA - Melissa Boey

The Pretty young female faci, that is pro in adobe photoshop. Willing to spend time to teach students that do not learn fast. Hav about the same mindset as students which is to hate going to the Lecture theatre for lesson briefing because we learn nothing from that. Also quite nice, no matter what type of result we show faci she always say something nice about it and praise it. Likes to makes thing easier for the class in the problem statement and often end lesson early compare to other DMA faci. Got giv me a few As before.

Creative Concepts - Serene D’cotta > Sem2 mentor

A bigger size faci that kind of know a lot. She got potential to be a very creative person. Always able to add on to our ideas for the problem even if we dunno what we really want to do. Maybe cos shes my student mentor so she also become extra nice towards this class. But I NEVER got a A before for her class, I think the main reason cos I dun think I m really creative and also unable to really think as a artistic person and create something artistic with true meaning that people can tell just by looking and some thoughts. She is the only faci that treated the class pizza on the last week of sem 2. Most likely becos it’s the school funding for the students given to mentor.

Working weekends at handphone shop! Need save up for shoes for year 2. Programme Chair said MUST wear shoes everyday to the year 2 labs or you are not allowed into class. I dun even no what shoes should i buy? After chinese new year den go buy with a budget from about 100-300! I had been wearing slippers to school for the 99% of class in RP.

New phone for my whole family!

Queued with my bro at the M1 Shop at westmall yesterday for 3 HRS~!!!. The whole Q was long than u never ever imagine, my mum started Q-ing around 5.30, WE REACH THE COUNTER AT 9+!! i met my mum after school n UT at about almost 7pm. Every1 walking pass the westmall was asking y is there such a long long queue? they even tried asked me if M1 was giving out free Iphones. My bro wanted to buy 1 from M1 with its Iphone contact. Then he also renewed 2 contacts getting 2 new phone for me and my mum which is the phone above Sony Erisson W508. I still not very used to this phone. My phone number previous was a prepay card, so my bro setup a new line for my mum and i took my mum line. Due to now i still have prepay left in my previous number i decided to continue using my this number until the end of the year and my card will expire. My previous number which is 91989415 will still be in use till 1 January 2010. The new number is 98445576. So take it down if you need.

Today marks the last official day of my semester holiday. Days n nights of gaming had finally came to a end. Now all i can is just to play after school or before sleep.

The new semester also = NEW friendsssss , NEW facisssss , NEW class , NEW modules.

MY GRADES FOR SEMESTER 1 in RP !

MY grades in semester 1 release LIAO. I GOT 3As,1B n 1 C! For UT 3 for those who dunno whats UT its ( Understanding Test) which is like SA in secondary school.
I got 5 subjects ,enterprise,cocknitive,maths,sciences,programming.

I got As for the 1st 3 in UT3 ^^ i never expected As for the two subjects that i suxs at due to LOUSY english. T
hen Overall grades for whol semester i get A , B+ , A , B+, C !!
Total = 18/5 = GPA = 3.6 ,
many ppl told me quite high but i feel its not high lor my 2 friends i know get 3.8 "_" haiz. GRATZ to all that see my blog n got very nice grades too.

The whole of the holiday i had spent 60% of my free time mapling so i decided to go do something else. Then friend pm me n says he wants me to join his anime card decks gamers. He sent me the link n shown me.Its very CUTE n nice but also very expensive. Somemore all japanese words printed, still need check online for the effect. In the end i never took up the new game he intro me but i was motivated to go watch some anime since then. So he intro me go watch Nogizaka Haruka No Himitsu. So i did n watch the full series finish. Then i remember a anime that i started watching but never watched even 10 espiode . Bleach. i watch only 9 esp nia . Then i watched for a long period in these past few days till now esp 51 liao but stil FAR FAR behind i think going 250+ soon . But nvm i just watch to kill time not like following a bleach trend.

Today can count as a day full of events some are good and some are bad. Spend the night at my auntie house and woke up EARLY at 6am! kind of siao. Today marks the start of my end of 1st RP semester holiday. Whole day busy busy busy run from west to east then east to west till 11am. Chatted till 4pm and left for west mall to meet up with victor and eddy. Eat at some coffeeshop instead of Kou Fu. I and those two will going to meet up with a guy that proposing to us to take up the job that can potentially provide 1000-10000 sg dollars per month. But need pay $10 to go attend the talk that was suppose to let us take up the job. Let imagine that i hav 2000 per month, how would i spend it?? My own iphone , internet , wii , godly eq. Then giv the rest half to parents half to my spamming spree. ok then lazy liao talk next time ,,

SHOCK OF MY LIFE CAR ACCIDENT

On the day after national day , morning about 9 am, my bro drive my family(including me,my mother, father). On to the highway at pie towards changi at bukit timah. We will talking on the way. Then my bro suddenly lost control of the car and glide towards to wall on the right of the highway. Then the car went from right to the left in haste. The car SPINNED N SPINNED N SPINNED for 3 roundsd landing on the side of the road hitting a lorry side lights . Luckily THX who even that fix this car, the tyres came out of the car and stop spinings else this post willnot be here liao as i died liao with my family. I was sitting in front at the front sit so air bag came out however my mother was not like me, her eyes hit hard on the front sits and whole eye got swollen like a egg. Then in less than 5 minute time all the amubulance, fire engine, tow trucks, traffic police and police came. All was resolve within 30mins and my parents was sent to hosipital and me n my bro went to follow the tow truck to tow the car to IDAC( which is the report damage centre) then to the work SHOP. this incident if u dun really see it well its nothing.

But to my its almost fatal as my whole family could hav died then u will see republic poly student one more died after the incident at the bukit timah train rail way

2day is my Birthday~! .Thanks all that had wish me , no matter from W34B , W47M ,stallion or others. I m now 17yr old liao!! 1 more year to do many many many things! Going to watch movie with W34Bians later after school! . OH ya also must thanks all in my guild that also wished me happy BD. More infor will be posted later on....

Surpising free drinks

Today i went with my mum to the old folks home to visit my grandfather. On the way there outside the old folks home there was a vending machine , I felt thirsty so i go and buy 1 packet of drink. Ice milo was sold out so i bought a packet of bandung for 60cents. Then after the press the button , the drink dropped. I bend down to try take the drink out, but the door got stuck. Then i look closely at what is making it stuck. It was MILO packets. 5 packets of milo had stuffed the whole 'dropzone' to the max. I forcefully pushed out one milo packet from the side and adjusted the other to make the door able to flip open. In the end i throw away the 1st packet as its out of shape and took all the other 4 packets of milo for FREE. 60cents for 1 packet of bandung and 4 packets of ice milo = 3.80 haha . LOL My lame laterest post
